Tickle Toes was born in February 2004, a brief 4 months after conception.

This was preceded by a very enjoyable labour in Falkirk Library delivering Bounce and Tickle rhyme and song sessions to the youngest members of the community over a 2 year period.

As a library assistant I was able to share my love of children’s picture books with the under fives for some 26 years.

Although I now live in Dundee I enjoy sharing books, stories, rhymes and songs with parents and their children all over the country.

In the first 18 months of Tickle Toes saw me bounce babies throughout Perthshire, Stirlingshire, Tayside and Angus with staff training in Fife thrown in for good measure.

Due to the success of the sessions in Arbroath and Carnoustie libraries, sessions are now available in almost all libraries in Angus. Have a look at the session info for details.
